a. Junior Fellowship:
Given to M.Sc. (Agri) and M.Tech. (Agril. Engg) students for a period of two
years. It involves monthly fellowships plus a contingency
grant each year for dissertation and books.
Since inception in the year 1974 up till now (2008-2009) total 455 junior
fellowships have been awarded.
b. Senior Fellowship:
Given to Ph.D students in Agril. Sciences and Agril. Engineering
for a period of three years. It involves a monthly fellowship
plus a contingency grant each year for dissertation
and books.
Total 111 senior fellowships have been awarded
to the candidates since beginning.
The Junior and Senior Fellows are
selected by inviting applications, scrutinizing them
and finally through interviews conducted by eminent
scientists. The subject identified for these fellowships
are Agril. Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agril
Entomology, Plant Pathology, Genetics & Plant Breeding,
Soil Science and Agril. Extension.

c. Research Scholarship:
Research Projects submitted
by agricultural Scientists and students are sanctioned.
It involves a scholarship for two years for M.Sc. (Agri)
and M.Tech. (Agri. Engg) students and three years for
Ph.D. student. Besides the scholars and the Advisors
get contingency grants for experimental material, books
and preparation of dissertation.
Uptill now (2008 - 2009) 101 projects having practical utility
have been financed by the Foundation.
