Now renamed ASPEE College of Home Science it was set-up on 17th November 1981 to offer Research Programmes in the field of Nutrition and Extension. The Nutritional Programme tackles the enormous problem of Malnutrition, Immunization, Child Development, Anemia in Pregnancy and other health hazards. The Extension Educational aspect imparts education in Home Science, Prohibition and Family Planning - scourges of rural India.
